Midland Gem and Mineral Society is dedicated to the study of the earth’s history as recorded in rocks plus promote interest in, and understanding of the earth along with the myriad uses of it’s minerals and gems, by sharing knowledge of the methods and procedures for collecting, identifying, cutting, polishing, setting and mounting of specimens via school programs, presentations, demonstrations, scholarships, shows, classes, meetings, and interactive affiliations with similar associations and museums.
